Our Mission
At Prose For Patients, our mission is to bridge the gap between hospital care and patient experience through authentic storytelling. By publishing a magazine that shares the voices of patients and volunteers, we aim to foster a sense of belonging within the hospital community. Our work strengthens patient–volunteer connections, offering comfort, empathy, and shared understanding while creating a platform that uplifts every voice involved in the healing process.
“Stories are more than just words — they are bridges of empathy.”
Our Vision
We envision a world where the patient experience is not defined only by treatments and procedures, but also by the humanity shared in small moments of storytelling. By encouraging volunteers to reflect through poetry and prose, and by publishing these works, we create a living archive of resilience and compassion.
Our Core Values
- Compassion — Centering empathy in every interaction.
- Creativity — Harnessing the art of storytelling to heal.
